Our Fleet

Quick Air operates currently a fleet of 10 Learjet aircraft based in Cologne, Germany (CGN/EDDK). The whole fleet is owned and operated by Quick Air under the German Air Operator Certificate AOC D-061. All aircraft are rigged with state-of-the-art medical equipment to ensure outstanding patient care. They can be considered as flying intensive care units ready to take off on short notice, round the clock, for medical evacuation or repatriation worldwide.

Aircraft Range

The aircraft range dependents on the prevailing winds and the load of the aircraft. With one or if necessary more fuel stops as well as additional crew changes we can reach almost every destination on earth. Quick Air is licenced to fly WORLDWIDE by the German federal aviation administration. Our global aviation insurance covers crisis as well as war zones. Necessary governmental overfly and landing permits can be obtained on short notice.

Learjet 45XR (3 in Fleet)

The Learjet 45 aircraft is a mid-size business jet aircraft produced by the Learjet Division of Bombardier Aerospace. In ambulance configuration its cabin can be arranged for 1-2 patients and up to 5 or 7 additional passengers. The aircraft was the first all-new design since the original Learjet, and significantly altered the Learjet line. Our Learjet 45XR are an high performance variant and upgraded version of the Model 45 offering substantially higher takeoff weights, faster cruise speeds and faster time-to-climb rates than the Model 45, chiefly through modifications to the engine. With this aircraft we are able to perform missions with two full medical teams independently caring for two critical ill ICU patients.

The Learjet 55 is a business jet manufactured by Gates Learjet. In ambulance configuration its cabin can be arranged for 1-2 patients.
The Learjet 55 is a low-wing cantilever monoplane with NASA developed winglets, the winglets gave rise to the nickname Longhorn. The aircraft has a T-tail and is powered by two Honeywell TFE 731-3C turbofans mounted each side of the rear fuselage.It has a retractable tricycle landing gear.

Our aircraft are powered by two Honeywell TFE 731-2C engines. The engines are mounted in nacelles on the sides of the aft fuselage. The wings are equipped with single-slotted flaps. The wingtip fuel tanks distinguish the design from other aircraft having similar functions.

The Learjet Model 36 is a series of American multi-role business jets and military transport aircraft. The Model 36 has a shortened passenger area in the fuselage, in order to provide more space in the aft fuselage for fuel tanks. It is designed for longer-range mission capability. In ambulance configuration its cabin can be arranged for 1 patient.
